MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Elappully

This interactive theatre was performed in Elappully, Palakkad. The audience comprised of service users and care givers who visit the clinic ,a few members from the locality, the clinic supervisors, doctors and mental health workers.

MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Attapadi

The play was performed in a community hall in Attapadi which is a tribal area. it was engaging and although reluctant at first the participants engaged in discussion and shared their thoughts about the issues of alcoholism and drug abuse in the community. The energy in the hall was electrifying as the audience danced and sang to local tunes

MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Calicut

The play performed at the Centre for Psychotherapy(Mental Health Action Trust )spoke of the discrimination women face at the workplace and at home , the changing family structures and the need for mental health promotion in the state. It played out to a packed audience with service users, caregivers ,volunteers ,community members and healthcare staff.

MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Chottanikkara

This clinic play was performed in a community hall in Chottanikkara. The audience comprised of service users and caregivers who visit the clinic ,members from the locality, the clinic supervisors, doctors and mental health workers.

MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Edapally

The interactive theatre was conducted at a Community hall in Edapally. It played out to a packed audience with service users, caregivers ,volunteers ,community members and healthcare staff.

MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Payyoli

This play was performed in an open venue near the beach. The audience comprised of service users and care givers who visit the clinic ,a few members from the locality, the clinic supervisors, doctors and mental health workers.

MeHeLP Interactive Theatre Play – Vayalathur

The play was performed in an open venue( courtyard of one of the clinic caretaker’s homes in Vailathur). The audience comprised of service users and care givers who visit the clinic, a few members from the locality, the clinic supervisors, doctors and mental health workers. The audience actively participated in the discussion afterwards

Our aim is to spread public awareness on mental health literacy in urban and rural India by sharing stories of people with mental health problems and their families to promote public understanding about living with mental illness, help seeking and support for promoting mental health and wellbeing.
